This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, customer success, and driving business growth. You will play a key role in expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to a more sustainable food system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute sales activities at both operational and tactical levels.
- Manage a specific market or region to drive customer acquisition and growth.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers to ensure long-term success.
- Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and advise on strategy and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of solutions.
- Enhance sales processes and models to drive commercial excellence.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members.
- Represent the organization in customer meetings and industry events.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage strategic customer accounts and close deals.
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- Experience in a commercial B2B environment, preferably in food, feed, or ingredients.
- Educational background in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Structured and analytical thinker with strong project and time management skills.
- Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently while influencing stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally to meet customer needs.
- Passion for sustainability and familiarity with the agrifood sector.
